| Where We're At... |

A couple of junior executives at some studios have never heard of "Sledge Hammer," but I didn't take that badly because they also thought "Chariot of Fire" was a movie about street racing.
One studio was interested, who shall remain nameless, but didn't want anyone from the original show involved.
Ahhh, such a good idea... and instead wanted to "reinvent" the premise, possibly even as a vehicle for "The Rock."
Ain't gonna' happen.
Right now, a company is seeing that there's a worldwide following for "Sledge Hammer!" and they're finding it most surprising.
They think it could be like "Johnny English" and play well globally, which would be low risk with an affordably low budget.
So far, they think the film should be as close to the series as possible.
Cross your fingers.
And eyes.
And toes.
Stay double and triple crossed.
